I'm aware I've been a little MIA with social media at the moment.. Sometimes life gets on top of you and that's okay!! But I want to know what you guys want from me?! Videos, motivation, selfies, physique updates, doggie pictures, recipes?! Everyone is so good to me and I appreciate the endless support, SO.. what do you guys want to see?! ------------------------------------------------------
Remember, I also have a second account @missamy_quine which is mainly photoshoot content ☺️😘
What's better than one gym selfie...TWO 😝 keeping it tight whilst eating and drinking to get me through these exams 🍨🍷.
Fact: snacking on Cobs popcorn is way better than snacking on chips.... my favourite 'lightly salted, slightly sweet' only has 98 calories and 12.3g of carbs per serve 👌🏾🍿
Why do I Train?
One of my clients posed this question to me earlier this week and it made me think about what I do and why. It’s important to find something that you enjoy doing, that ultimately can have a positive impact on your lifestyle.
Here are a few reasons I thought I’d share with you for why I enjoy training : -
- It makes me FEEL GREAT, working out has been proven to release endorphins in the brain which make you feel good
- It’s empowering that I feel strong. Resistance training makes my strength, joints and tendons as strong as they’ve ever been and I don’t feel vulnerable to injuries and niggles
- I believe working out encourages a positive mental attitude in life - by giving a little bit more effort and doing a few more reps in the gym, I generally find that people who work out regularly are positive souls or have success in their lives
- I enjoy pushing my muscles to their limits. From playing competitive sports, pushing myself in the gym is a challenge. If things get hard, I’m usually one to do a little bit more
# - Confidence. Although I’ll never be 100% happy with my body (as most won’t), training gives me added confidence. It’s a nice feeling getting a compliment off someone for how you look
Cause no matter how life treats you, some beautiful things have been here for a long time, some will be there for many years to come and some will exist long after we pass away.
As long as I breathe, I will always just be home where my heart is.
