Follow what you believe and what you feel is right. While that can change over the course of a lifetime, don't change your direction if there is any hint of doubt.
Doubt is a strange feeling. Sometimes it's the feeling in your gut that keeps you out of trouble. Yet there are other times where it is the sole barrier keeping one from achieving their potential. So where does one draw the line? The answer lies in what one believes in deep down. Do what feels right and hold off on what doesn't. Only stray from your original course of action after careful consideration. Even if you were wrong, the roads travelled, people you meet, lessons learned, and experiences are priceless. Time is never wasted when one does what they truly believe in.
Today's pose is a variation from the pose a couple days ago, the single leg crow. This one is more levelled with the hips still on top of the wrists. Arms are straighter in this variation and this really tests one's core strength with both the leg and upper body further away from the center. Highly recommend warming up one's wrist before trying this. Good luck and have fun!

This is for @tabithapaige who is working on her Half Pike Press - the difficulty in keeping the bent leg tucked into chest vs the instinct to lift up to the side as in a puppy press. It's all about keeping that bent leg tucked in TIGHT to the chest, but also squeezing into the midline. Strong adductors/inner thighs fighting the urge for the bent leg to lift up...super strong core also at play here (think belly button to spine). Work on puppy tuck presses as that helps you understand a tighter more centralized mass! This Half Pike Press helped me get my full Pike Press! This pose puts quite the weight on the half lotus especially the knee. You can put extra padding underneath. Doing this pose with palms together (second photo) instead of binding hands would make it slightly better but it could still be challenging for people with bad knees and tight hips. Half lotus chair pose with twisting is an easier variant that beginners can try 🙏🏻

Day 2️⃣ of the challenge is Bakasana, Crane or Crow Pose.
In my own practice, Ashtanga, we do this pose in the Intermediate sequence. In this video I'm demoing a fun (i.e. slightly dangerous) vinyasa entry into the pose where we jump from Downward Dog into Crane Pose without letting the feet touch the ground. You can try that one, or just enter the pose from a squat. .

This felt so nice and I wanted to see if I could focus on reading at least a page from the #girlwiththedragontattoo . I was able to for a few pages! I am really happy that I am able to hold this pose. Before, my legs used to come out after 5 breaths. Another happy moment was being able to put the right leg behind the left leg. I have been really working on my right hip flexibility! So happy to feel a lot more comfortable in this pose.❤ Host: @cyogalab
I have always been enamored by dancer pose. It tests your balance but also allows the heart to shine.
