So I decided to change the color of my manicure. The previous one was pretty too but not as chic as I wanted-if that makes any sense!!! 😉 I wanted a brighter color, so I went with this beautiful light green color!!! What do you think guys? And by the way, I always do my manicure myself! 💅😊💃🏻
Work hard for what you want because it won't come to you without a fight... You have to be strong, courageous, and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive. ✌🏻 #mindset
In all seriousness this is a question I find myself asking a lot lately. Half marathon training has been really hard to keep up with and finding the time to fit decent runs in has proven rather difficult. It has been a week and a half since our last big run and I'd been trying to figure out how we could fit it in so we decided to work it into date night 👫❤️ - run first and dinner out afterwards (my choice of course was pizza and wine at Pizzeria Gusto) ...I'm not kidding about balance folks! 😉👌🏼.
What started out as an attempt at 15 km somehow turned into finishing 17.2, our longest distance to date and also only 4km short of what our half marathon will be. This has been such a rewarding experience for me in so many ways. 5 short months ago I had never ran more than 5km ever, and physically could not run 2km without requiring multiple breaks to walk. Finally I understand what I've heard so many times throughout life, that you'll get there if you just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
On these runs I don't even register the idea of failure or the inability to finish, our goals just become what we believe is going to happen and we keep putting one foot in front of the other until we finish.
My body really started to struggle the last few km's but we made it through and felt so incredibly accomplished after. Cheers to such a fun date night and to an amazing start to the weekend! 💕🍷🍕🙌🏼
I started my weight loss journey 1 year and 4 months ago, when I was 17 years old and a senior in high school. I hated my life, my body and couldn’t handle who I was anymore. I have since lost 100lbs, finished my freshman year of college less than I weighed when I started, turned 18 and gave myself a second chance at life before it even started.
Sometimes I still see 275lb Lauren when I look in the mirror, I find myself in shock when I remember how I used to be. Sometimes I still feel anxious and depressed, I find myself dealing with that in healthier, non food ways than I did before. One thing I never do is forget where I started, I never want to be that miserable again ✨✨

Fit Challenge es un proyecto para apoyar los atletas Cordobes que quieren salir adelante en este deporte y representar nuestro municipio y nuestro país en este bello deporte que es el #fisicoculturismo
La principal misión de este proyecto es tener aliados patrocinadores para hacer de el evento algo acogedor y llamativo para los espectadores y participantes, el dinero adquirido sera direccionado a ayudar a los atletas que quieren surgir en este deporte poco apoyado.
Por ello a nacido este gran proyecto y nuestra visión es seguir haciendo estas cosas para seguir apoyando a los atletas que surgen poco a poco y por razones monetarias son limitados a salir fuera de nuestro municipio a competir.
