The weather seems to be nice and sunny again but all I'll do today is stay inside in front of my laptop 😧
How's the weather at your place? What are your plans for today?
Another awesome book, James Altucher is on another level, learned so much from this dude,I am his new fan, title deceiving like is another self help book, but it is a gem "Every moment is the audition. Every time you create is a chance to go on the roof and do something new, in a way that hasn’t been done before, in a way that is potentially disruptive, playful, unique, and vulnerable"

"Libraries were full of ideas – perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons." - Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. 💫
Okay, confession time. I disliked Throne of Glass initially because the hype around it got to me and I felt so disappointed. However, I picked up Crown of Midnight and found myself starting to like the series despite our initial hiccups - it's now one of my favourite fantasy series. 😏 I'm looking forward to the conclusion of this series!
Q: did you honestly like Throne of Glass or did you say you liked it because of the hype?

"Clothes, Clothes, Clothes. Music, Music, Music. Boys, Boys, Boys" by Viv Albertine was a spontanous purchase during our Cologne trip a few weeks ago. I love to read (auto-)biographies as they not only tell the story of a person but her time – and what a time Viv Albertine experienced! She was part of London's punk-rock scene and with the band The Slits also an important protagonist. I loved the story because it's very honest and direct and also shows the roughness those times had for young women. "Even though we couldn't afford to travel, we felt connected to other countries because ideas and events from those places reached us through music and magazines"

Good morniiing my lovelies!
I'm veeery tired, but thanks the gods this week isn't going to be very busy 😂

I recently bought Desayuno en Júpiter ☄ (aka Breakfast in Jupiter), and I've just started reading it. It's not quite what I expected, but I hope I'll like it anyway 😁

Chitra B Divakaruni has a special place in my heart and on my bookshelf. And last weekend I picked up one of her books after a very long time. 😁
Revolving around life of Anju and Sudha, Sister of my Heart is about two girls born under the same ungrateful star and the same roof of Chatterjees, who find themselves bound on a special journey together.
But there is a secret lurking around in the house that only Sudha knows. Will that secret change the course of love that they have for each other?
A beautiful celebration of undying love between two sisters, a book that simply cannot be missed! ❤️
And goes without saying, magical as always! 😄

"This world is not made of shades of gray.
It's made of colors like azure and coral and emerald and marigold.
But it insists on painting everything in black and white and fitting it into boxes that it understands. ⠀
Do not do that to yourself. Paint your personality a million different colors. ⠀
Leave them scratching their heads, unsure how to handle the magic that you are."

The Magpies is a gripping psychological thriller in which the monsters are not vampires or demons but the people who live next door. It is a nightmare that could happen to anyone.
Good morning 💕 I have finished "Splintered" by Teri Terry yesterday and it was really good. But I'm still trying to get over the "Die for me" series by Amy Plum. Such wonderful books 💗
My March #fairyloot came today and I'm sooooo excited about the book & all the goodies 🙈 I won't do a unboxing for a couple more days because that would be cruel and unusual to those who haven't got theirs yet but I will tell you i've been waiting to get this book forever!

- Dance Academy 💖 #DAStrikeaPose#DanceAcademyMovie
I know this isn't book related, but I've just gotten back home from a wonderful mini holiday at the Coast with my bestie and she captured this shot of me for the Dance Academy competition! For those of you who don't know, Dance Academy was an Aussie tv series about a group of teens at a dance/ballet school in Sydney and now they've made a movie that is coming out in a couple of days!!! The above quote is from the show and was a favourite of mine. 💖 I'm really excited to see the film in cinemas, as I was a big fan of the show (even though I was probably a little old for it 😝) and it's really important to support Aussie cinema! I don't think I've ever been a good dancer, but I've always been obsessed with dance movies/shows and I studied Dance at high school and also did extra-curricular dance. I have a bad back, so I couldn't do any impressive dance poses/moves for this shot (not that I could do any haha), so this pose is what I settled on. Fingers crossed I win one of the prizes!
