Day 9 of Insanity Max 30: Tabata Power
I'm really enjoying this program because.....
1. Its only 30 minutes from start to finish.
2. It has a modifier so that you can go at your own pace which means anyone can do this program.
3. Shaun T's words are encouraging and motivating.
4. There is no equipment needed. You use your own body weight to sculpt your body and it works because my muscles are sore.
I maxed out today at 25 minutes and 37 seconds which was 9 more minutes than last time doing this particular workout. Even though I'm following the modifier all the way, I'm making SO MUCH progress!

Strength is such a funny word. It's such a small word for something with so much meaning and weight!! My strength comes from my child! It comes from my family, from my friends and from my passions. It grows daily!! My physical strength gets better because of my workouts, my internal strength gets better from personal development and working towards my goals as a person, my emotional strength grows because of my support system and the love I feel from them and my occupational strength is growing from the amount of people I am helping!
Knowing the person I am has helped me build relationships and a business I am proud of! Having this fire within me has brought a smile to my face and to the face of those around me.
Being able to grow and persevere in spite of the things trying to tear my family and myself down is how I can wake up in the morning feeling strong and inspired!

The healthier me on the right still enjoys going out with friends and drinking every now and then.... The girl on the left used to avoid cameras and and never worked out! I used to come home from work everyday and sit on the couch and watch tv while dinner was cooking. When I was stressed out I would indulge in sweets and junk food.
Everyday I used to have a stomach ache because I have a lot of stomach issues and I would ignore it. I was basically torturing myself. Dairy upsets my stomach and my favorite thing to eat when I'm stressed is ice cream!
The healthier me on the right still enjoys having some drinks with friends, still eats ice cream occasionally, and I still eat pizza and burgers. But I eat in moderation and I choose to eat better because it makes me feels better. I have more energy, I don't have stomach aches anymore unless I eat unhealthy, and I feel more confident which is something I have always lacked. I am eating something small every 2-3 hours and working out 30-45min a day!
Stop telling yourself you can't be happier, that you can't still do or eat what you love. You CAN! And still see results! Join my fit group that's starting July 10th! Be like the girl on the right and take a chance!

Lee's transformation story is rather unique.
Most of her it was nutrition-based due to the inability to work out for the first months. It proves how much Shakeology and proper nutrition can do for you! And as a KEEP IT REAL moment... this reminds me of how we often neglect the gifts we have, like the ability to get out of bed and sweat a little!
After battling a very rare cancer called Fibrosarcoma, which resulted in 3 abdominal surgeries, they had to remove an entire section of her abdomen. 😳😳This included skin, oblique muscle, tissue, and pelvic bone gristle.
Using the 21 Day Fix nutrition plan and Shakeology Lee got strong from the INSIDE out, lost 7 pounds in round one, figured out how to walk again! ❤️🏃🏽🙏🏼. She even did a 5K in 6 months! Way to go Lee!! 🔥🎉
Since then she's continued to get stronger every day and is exploring new Beachbody programs like 3 Week Yoga Retreat.
