Stress Less Diffuser Blend: 6 drops of Clary Sage, 4 drops of Lavender, 2 drops of Lemon.
I have fallen in love with Clary Sage recently. I keep a rollerball in my purse with equal parts Lavender and Clary Sage, topped off with fractionated coconut oil for times when I get overwhelmed. I also like to diffuse these two at night for pleasant, restful sleep.
Clary Sage promotes healthy hair and scalp, is soothing to the skin, and promotes relaxation and restful sleep.
Have you experienced Clary Sage?
You know it’s time to go to sleep, but you just can’t close your eyes. Little, instant, delicious, bursts of pleasure you get from social media make it hard for you to put your phone down. Each second you tell yourself: it’s time to sleep! But you can’t obey.
The blue light emitted by the screen plays a hard game with your mind: it sends to your reptilian brain a veiled message, that it’s still daylight, and your mind answers appropriately – it’s still not time to go to sleep because there’s still daylight.
Blue light tricks your mind into believing it is still daytime. So what can we do about this?
Avoid going to your phone/computer during the evening time at all. Arrange your days so that once it becomes dark, you won’t need to use these electronics.
Install a blue-light filter on your devices. If you have no way around using technology once the sun goes down, your next best option would be to try out some blue-light filter programs, like Flux or Twilight.
