People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway....

Real men at work! Soldiers, preparing for battle the right way. Some of those men received the Eucharist for the last time in that particular Holy mass, some got wounded and crippled. The priests, just because in love with the faith, sometimes while bullets flew arouns their heads, also risked their lives for their brothers. A catholic should always strive for peace, but when you have to protect the faith, your country, your family and beloved ones, war can be just. Our Lord wasn't a pacifist - he even told his disciples to get themselves swords. Why do you think St. Peter had one in the Olive Garden, cutting of Malchus' ear? Do you think Christ didn't know? Sure he did. But there is OFFENSE and DEFENSE, and in defense my brothers, you should never perish or doubt. No one WANTS to kill a man, I'm sure these soldiers didn't either, but they knew, that in some cases they had to. “During this terrible day, You have been kind enough to protect me. I make haste to thank You, but I am thinking all the time of the many who have fallen, my officers and my comrades. May they receive from you all the rewards, the peace, and the rest that are reserved for brave men who did their best. Give their unhappy families, please, the consolation of believing in Your kindness and love.“ Bishop Fulton J. Sheen (Wartime Prayer Book) May God bless all righteous soldiers, all who fight against the evil in the world, especially the Christian soldiers in Iraq and Syria. #jesuschrist#jesuschristus#lord#god#sonofgod#sacredheart#blessed#catholic#katolik#heilig#holy#sacred#gott#sohngottes#love#liebe#yeshua#messiah#messias#christian#catholicsatwar#wartime#bishopfultonsheen#eucharist#soldiers#holymass#warriors
Meditate on that Ambika,
Who has a body of the colour of saffron,
Who has the three graceful eyes,
Who has a jeweled crown ,
Adorned by the moon,
Who always has a captivating smile,
Who has high and firm breasts,
Who has wine filled cup made of precious stones,
And reddish flowers in her hands,
Who forever is the ocean of peace,
And who keeps her red holy feet.
On a jeweled platform. #SRBMZA#sacred#holy#herecomestheboom#devi#shakti#amma

The three names viz Kashi, Varanasi, Benares actually denote three different era's of iconic history of this city. The holy city on the banks of River Ganges, The spiritual capital of India, Varanasi has been referred to as Kashi (Kāśī ) in Rigveda, an ancient Indian collection of Sanskrit hymns. The word Kashi is derived from the Sanskrit root word kaś- which means ‘to shine’, the reason why it is also referred as the City of lights.
The name Varanasi, as it is now currently known as, bear its roots from the two tributaries that borders the city, Varuna flowing north of the city and Assi, flowing in the south part of the city near Assi Ghat.
The name Benaras (Banāras) is most widely used name for the city. It is usually taken as the modified version of Varanasi itself. Some believe that it was done by the colonizers to suit their accent while some claim that it came out of the Bengali way of pronouncing Varanasi as Benarasi that eventually got transformed to Benaras. There is also a speculation that it originated from the name of king, Banar who established it as a pilgrimage. ✨🕉🔱🌅🌊✨

It's Saturday at the moment and I'm sleeping at my school and fasting with a bunch of people for everyone around the world that doesn't have access to food. It's an amazing event that is a challenge, but putting yourself in others' shoes can help you realize how others feel on the daily (the homeless, the poor, etc). Jesus also fasted for 40 days and nights, so one night is nothing compared to him.. anyways hope you enjoy these text posts and if you made it this far comment a "❤️" I wanna see how many people read this whole caption LOL
The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi,India, is a Bahá'í House of Worship completed in 1986. Notable for its flower like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Baha'i Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification. The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides with nine doors opening onto a central hall with height of slightly over 40 metres and a capacity of 2,500 people.The Lotus Temple has won numerous architectural awards and been featured in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles. A 2001CNN report referred to it as the most visited building in the world.
All Baha'i Houses of Worship, including the Lotus Temple, share certain architectural elements, some of which are specified by Baha'i scripture. Abdu'l-Bahá, the son of the founder of the religion, stipulated that an essential architectural character of a House of Worship is a nine sided circular shape.While all current Baha'i Houses of Worship have a dome, this is not regarded as an essential part of their architecture.Baha'i scripture also states that no pictures, statues or images be displayed within the House of Worship and no pulpits or altars be incorporated as an architectural feature (readers may stand behind simple portable lecture stands).
Inspired by the lotus flower, the design for the House of Worship in New Delhi is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides.The nine doors of the Lotus Temple open onto a central hall slightly more than 40 metres tall that can seat 1,300 people and hold up to 2,500 in all.
No wonder Bali feels special. I glanced up from my computer to see this tray of offerings, on their way to 14 or more different locations to acknowledge, give thanks, ask for protection for many different things. For watching out for our health, safety and well being. Guarding the entrances. Honoring the beings who pass through this land on the ancient path from one temple to the other a mile away. For keeping the well full of water and the pump working and more. A daily event during which gratitude and interdependence of the seen and unseen are held in ones consciousness. What a blessing to be surrounded by this. #Bali#offerings#BaliOfferings#incense#interconnected#metta#gratitude#holy water #AirTirta #

Christian means Christ like. If you are really in love with Yeshua and born again in Spirit...then the Holy Spirit will convict you leave your old sins. He doesn't give us the right or freedom to slander others or use curse words( which I see a lot happening on ig...it is so unnecessary. I have had a debate with three atheists 2 were super rude(they absolutely hate Christians one wasn't so rude)... one blocked me because he couldn't answer the only question I asked) but other two ended up the conservation by blessing me....because it wasn't me chatting....I asked the Lord's to show His goodness through my words. The only good I have in me is Yeshua.) I will put the chat screengrabs laterz...). He will give us the wisdom to handle every attack boldly yet gently because our God is consuming fire...and His word is like the double edged sword... which is enough for our defence. If you ask for His help will not help you? Is He not enough to deal with your situation? Why deal such unpleasant situation without His help?
Let your life reflect Yeshua. Display your faith by fleeing fron sin of idoltary, adultery, lies, lust, using words that are disgraceful...for all this brings dishonour to our Holy Father. What is life reflecting today?
22📖 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness
23📖 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things.
Honor God with the fruit of The Holy Spirit
Isaiah a great prophet that wrote the Book of Isaiah about 700 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. A prophet acknowledged by Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
He wrote in Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
It is amazing how such a unique and impossible prophecy is fulfilled 700 years later and documented in the Gospels, it was written in Matt 1:18-25 documenting the birth of Jesus who is representing God with us (Immanuel). Never was another child born of a virgin without intervention of modern technology, really amazing what God could do and would do to save us from our sin.
Sri Harmandir Sahib(The abode of God) also Sri Darbar Sahib and informally referred to as the"Golden Temple" is the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism, located in the city of Amritsar,Punjab, India. Amritsar (literally,the tank of nectar of immortality) was founded in 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru,Guru Ram Das.The fifth Sikh Guru,Guru Arjan, designed the Harmandir Sahib to be built in the centre of this holy tank, and upon its construction, installed the Adi Granth, the holy scripture of Sikhism, inside the Harmandir Sahib. The Harmandir Sahib complex is also home to the Akal Takht(the throne of the timeless one, constituted by the Sixth Guru,Guru Hargobind). While the Harmandir Sahib is regarded as the abode of God's spiritual attribute, the Akal Takht is the seat of God's temporal authority.
The construction of Harmandir Sahib was intended to build a place of worship for men and women from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship God equally.Accordingly, as a gesture of this nonsectarian universal ness of Sikhism,Guru Arjanhad specially invited MuslimSufisaint, HazratMian Mirto lay the foundation stone of the Harmandir Sahib.The four entrances (representing the four directions) to get into the Harmandir Sahib also symbolise the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions.Over 100,000 people visit the holy shrine daily for worship, and also partake jointly in the free community kitchen and meal (Langar) regardless of any distinctions, a tradition that is a hallmark of all Sikh Gurdwaras.
The gurdwara is surrounded by the Sarovar, a large lake or holy tank, which consists ofAmrit("holy water" or "immortal nectar") and is fed by the Ravi River. There are four entrances to the gurdwara, signifying the importance of acceptance and openness. There are three holy trees (bers), each signifying a historical event or Sikh saint. Inside the gurdwara there are many memorial plaques that commemorate past Sikh historical events, saints and martyrs, including commemorative inscriptions of all the Sikh soldiers who died fighting in World War I and World War II.
The Lord says that everything is resting on Him. This should not be misunderstood. The Lord is not directly concerned with the maintenance and sustenance of this material manifestation. Sometimes we see a picture of Atlas holding the globe on his shoulders; he seems to be very tired, holding this great earthly planet. Such an image should not be entertained in connection with Krsna's upholding this created universe. He says that although everything is resting on Him, still He is aloof. The planetary systems are floating in space, and this space is the energy of the Supreme Lord. But He is different from space. He is differently situated.
