Heart clam ❤️❤️❤️ and broad bean appetiser with fried lotus root chips. Earthy broad beans against the strong, briny meatiness of the heart clams = fuck yeahhhhhhh times. I don't often eat fancy Japanese food 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵 in HK cause I don't like being bankrupt and often disappointed but I'd make an exception for Godenya 💸💸💸
I know not everyone agrees with me, but this classic Hong Kong breakfast is one thing I always look forward to! The whole experience is fun and memorable: the line outside, the chaos inside, being seated at a table with strangers, the way the waiters throw your food on the table 3 minutes after you order, and of course the deliciousness!
