Today I had such a good workout and I gave it my absolute all. When I went to stretch, a man came up to me and pointed toward his ear, indicating to take my ear bud out. I figured he just wanted to use the bench my water bottle and phone were on. I took my headphone out and smiled at him and said "what's up?" And he grinned at me and he said, "You know, I see a lot of women come in here to work out, but I've never seen anyone like you. You kill every workout when I see you here! You shred it like you won't back for a week and yet here you are again today. You're just an inspiration." He told me about his weight loss journey and that he's lost 58 pounds already! He absolutely made my day when I felt so terrible this morning. I love the gym community. Get out there and run your little tushies off! The weighted sumo squat || I ❤️ sumo squat s 😍😍😍 || They benefit your lower body in so many ways , they target , tighten and tone(shape) the quads, hamstring, dat booty and inner thighs . Let me know if you guys would like to know more about my fitness and would like to see more clips of things ... I did 3 sets of 10 . I held a 45lb plate above me to add resistance. You will need to add weight especially if your flexible like me and it's hard to engage and feel discomfort . When holding it above your head it's like you have a distraction you know you need to squat and come back up . But at the same time you do not want to drop the plate on your head or whatever . So it takes major concentration . You can also hold it at the chest for beginners you still get that same effect and results but you have a like more control of the plate .

Hi everyone! I'm Michelle Fleming, and as RISE's co-owner and trainer, I'm honored to be wrapping up #RISETrainerWeek . We've had so much fun introducing you to our amazing team and can't wait to open our doors tomorrow. I began my search for my dream job the year I first attended Miami University. As an Exercise Science major, I spent 4 years studying biomechanics, functional anatomy, biology and everything relating to my now career. I graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and went on to get my certification from American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist. I hold an ACSM "Exercise is Medicine" credential. I have experience working with clients who have a wide range of goals: losing weight, postpartum fitness, recovering from and overcoming injuries, and finding more energy to tackle their days. My goal is to help people find their healthy lifestyle balance: a diet and exercise routine that they can carry with them long after we are finished working together.
First off let me start by giving a huge s/o to Nike and my sister for these new leggings, originally priced at $75 and after all discounts I got them for $16.50!!!! So I had to break them in today of course 😍 today was supposed to be my off day but I just couldn't do it, I was craving a workout. After being sore from this past week I decided to do a 45 min hiit workout just to get something in. Started off with 20 minutes on the stair master, different levels/different styles, then 4 sets of this circuit - 12-15 reps of squat press w dumbbells, weighted push-ups, v-ups, Russian twists and in & outs 😅 feeling really good about my body lately! BUT you have to give your body a rest to make gains so tomorrow will be my day off unfortunately 💪🏽💪🏽 abs are totally made in the kitchen and I haven't had much carbs in the past 2 weeks and I literally want to die, but the amount of protein I'm consuming is amazing!! #hiit#gaintrain#girlswholift#bootyfordays#abs#absworkout#workoutmotivation

Yesterday's boxing match (Joshua Vs Klitschko) inspired me to box today. Boxing great exercise as:
- intense and can be quicker
-don't need equipment
-good for #stress and #stressrelief i.e. #mentalhealth
Back at doing a lot of sprints 13mph for 15secs and 3.5mph for 45secs all for 25 minutes. I'm also happy to report I didn't feel entirely dizzy this time around. Objects around me are gyrating less and have begun to steady.
