Lemons are a powerful healing fruit that contain antibiotic and, antiseptic properties. Lemons are super rich in vitamins C, B-complex and minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, silicon, copper, and potassium.
Although lemons have an acidic taste they actually have a very strong alkaline reaction on the body and can help to alkalize blood, cells, lymph, organs and tissues.
Lemons can help destroy unwanted bacteria in the mouth and intestines. Lemons contain a compound called limonene which can benefit gallstones and kidney stones
Lemons are also rich in bioflavonoids which can significantly boost the immune system and help reduce inflammation in the body. Lemon juice is known to be particularly beneficial for colds, coughs, sore throats.
A large glass of lemon water upon waking is an excellent way to hydrate and cleanse the body first thing in the morning.
Fresh lemon in tea and green juice and added to salads, wraps, hummus, guacamole, and nori rolls is another great way to add this healing and nutritious fruit into your diet.
Make sure you include them in your weekly shop.

#bodymobility 🌻 @pumame .
Sports, recreational activities and other daily physical practices can result in reduced range of movement in any participating joint. When the joint is unable to move through its full range, it is called "compromised".
• MUSCULOSKELETAL HEALTH •
Mobility, or joint mobility, is the ability to move a limb through the full range of motion (with control), and it is based on voluntary movement.
Some experts refer to mobility as 'active flexibility'.
Of the two, mobility is more important. It is better to be inflexible with good mobility than flexible with poor mobility.
When compromised movement is present in a joint, it creates extra stress all around. It's a cascade effect.
A typical example are immobile ankles and feet underlying stress and injury to the knees, hips, and lumbar spine.
👉🏽 The solution? A joint mobility program.
Mobility work reduces the potential body imbalances inherent in our athletic and recreational pursuits.
Use mobility exercises as a warm up, an active recovery during other activities, or as a stand-alone workout.
You can rejuvenate yourself and reclaim the movement of a child with a good joint mobility program.
👉🏽 Remember: Joint mobility makes a wonderful, energizing morning recharge and sets the day up on the right foot.
Good morning ☀️. .

So as you guys may remember a couple of weeks ago I weighed in at 50.3kg and I did freak out a little. But the last couple of weeks I have been really focused on getting back on track. That doesn't mean I have given up all 'bad foods'. I had pizza with a friend last week and McDonalds fries this week. But 90% of the time I am on the ball. It's just a nice reminder that I am not the same Morag as before and I do know how to be healthy and I can stay in control. #weighin#weightlossjourney#healthyliving
