*lil bit of a read/rant/frustration*. So I tweaked something in my leg last week and it has limited my movement in my left leg which also happens to be my robo ankle leg.. both are acting out.. my ankle slightly swollen and everyone once in a while if I step wrong it's like a pinched never or something and it a shooting pain that makes it painful to walk. This hamstring/nerve or what have you is the same way. It hurts to deadlift and mid squat it hurt so I moved to body weight exercises and tried to do what felt comfortable with but if it wasn't one thing hurting it was the other. At some points I wanted to cry... it's so frustrating... but I'm not a little bitch and I did what I could. But I know no matter how afraid of going to the dr I am. I need to get my ankle re looked at and no matter how afraid I am of them saying they have to go back in... I can't make progress if it keeps hindering me... so I have to take care of me. Maybe u guys care maybe you don't.... this is really me just telling myself what I need to do... you just get to witness it. Who knows maybe someone has some words of wisdom. It feels so good to finally get back into the gym and get back into my normal #routine after a week away 🙌🏼 I'm not gunna lie... this past week was really rough... not only emotionally but physically and mentally as well. I ended up taking an unplanned break from my competition prep training and meal plan. Unfortunately this means I will not be ready in time to do the April #npcbikini show and am now pushing for the show in May that's here in #SanDiego . I know that everything happens for a reason (whether we like it or not 🙄) so I am not going to let this slow me down. I've just got to work harder to get back to where I was and get to where I want to be. There will always be setbacks but it's getting through those struggles that make you stronger. So learn to appreciate them and find the positives in every tough situation. If you've had any setbacks or struggles recently, know that we all have them whether we talk openly about it or not. The key is to keep going and pushing forward no matter what. #FlexFriday 💪🏼 just trying to get my upper body to catch up to my lower body 🙄 I upped my calories a while back and I've definitely noticed slightly bigger biceps so I'm happy with that😇 I don't know how it's affected my weight as I don't weigh myself, but I'm not feeling any less lean and my clothes aren't fitting differently so that's always coooool. 130lbs seems to be my happy weight at 5'3 ✌🏼️

Holy YES did I need to read that today. It's SO easy for women to tell other women they are valuable, strong, and worthy. I think it's hard for women, myself especially, to really accept it for themselves and truly believe it. So, in case you need to hear it- YOU are enough, YOU are worthy, YOU are valuable, YOU are strong 🙌🏼. Now it's time to work on believing it 💪🏼
