Today I took the plunge and started the #sbm by @paosfitworld🏋🏽♀️ I've been wanting to start it for what seems like forever and today just felt right🙋🏽 I'm excited for the next 12 weeks and having something to follow! I'll also be coupling that with bootcamp at my work 3x a week! I'm hoping this combo will work for my body🙌🏼 After week of vacation and a weekend full of treats, my body is craving good for me Foods and consistency🌱🥑🍌 so that's exactly what I'm gonna give my body. I'm so glad I've gotten to the point where I allow my body to tell me what it needs, that's a really good feeling! Let's be real through, it probably didn't need all the cookie cake and cupcakes it got this weekend but that's good for the soul, right?!🤔😛 Let's have a great week babes👏🏼
Watermelon Pizza! Perfect for warm summer days and soooo good and simple it takes less than 10 mins to make!
1 seedless watermelon
6 - 8 Tablespoons of Vanilla Yogurt (I prefer to use Greek Yogurt)
1/4 - 1/2 cup blueberries
1/4 - 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
Create the "crust" of the pizza, by slicing a piece of watermelon that is about 1 1/2 - 2 inches thick. The center of the watermelon will create the biggest pizza.
Lay the slice of watermelon on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
Cut the slice into 6 pieces.
Spread about 1 TBL Yogurt on each slice.
Top with blueberries and strawberries. Note* You can use any flavor yogurt you have. Change up the toppings to your families liking!

When it comes to training I get a lot of questions on “what is the right way to train”. I mean I get this daily.
It's a phenomenal question.
There is certainly no one way to do things as each body is completely different as are our goals. However what matters MOST for long term muscle growth isn’t how much you train in a day, it’s not what muscle groups are paired with others, it’s simply how many reps you do, how many times you do them and how often you do them.
It’s truly not dad difficult as it seems.
I used to be a guy that trained one muscle group per week without understanding why my body wasn’t responding. I would hit it hard as fuck and not really get why my body wasn’t changing, at least not at a rate I was pleased with.
One of the reasons I wasn't progressing was there were simply not enough repetitions and exercises in my weekly routine. Even when I would blast something like my chest I would fatigue 2/3 of the way through my workout so I wasn’t as strong as I could be for these repititions.
By spacing out my volume over the course of the week and bumping up my frequency in training different muscle groups I noticed a drastic increase in my results and my body composition.
Protein synthesis occurs roughly 36 hours post training which means we can absolutely train said muscle group again.. We cannot get max results hitting a muscle groups 52 times a year at most. It’s just not enough to grow significantly.
I recommend training muscle groups 2 times per week with any lacking or lower responsive muscle groups that need work up to 3.. You won’t be able to do as many reps on these groups 2-3 days per week as you would on 1 all out day, but if you look at the volume as a week- there will be more reps, more sets, and even higher strength for these reps/sets which is going to have you making drastic improvements.
Within these reps/sets you can change up techniques.
Strength is important. High reps are important.
All reps are important and by using different techniques within these sets/reps….you’re training is going to improve immensely.
Give this new way of training 4 wees let me know how ya feel!
Don't wish for it, work for it💪🏻 Seeing more gains everyday, this scrawny no muscle girl is building these muscles one day at a time.
If I can do it, anyone can! I'm so ready to push myself hard this year to reach my goal of being #fitby40
Put one foot in front of the other, don't over think it and just go for it👊🏻 What do you have to lose? #bodybeast#noexcuses#notgivingup#push#gains#nevermissamonday
Is there anything better than new workout gear?! These Wunderunder Lulu leggings have been staring at me since my hubby bought them for our anniversary...the beginning of April. I'm so excited to finally wear them!!
Another beautiful day at the beach 🌸🌞 after a dope family weekend. Can't wait to get back on track w/these workouts! Thank goodness for my @womensbest protein shakes. They really are so delish. #womensbest
