Oatmeal, mint, strawberry, mango juice & orange juice. ✨💕 sounds nasty but actually very tasty. My mom used to make oatmeal water/juice to keep herself full and use the bathroom. So I just add a bunch of fruits 😋😋 #dietchanges#lifestyle#oatmealrecipe#juices#fruits
One of the most common things I hear in regards to weight loss is the introduction of fruit into the diet and needless to say, I'm annoyed.
Don't get me wrong, fruits are high in micronutrients, vitamins, water, and fiber and may also contain antioxidants and other helpful phytochemicals, but unless you're using them to substitute a less healthy option, you're just adding more sugar to your diet disguised to make you feel better about yourself. The advice we hear should not be "eat more fruits" or "add fruits to your diet", that's just bullshit.
Yeah fruits do contain "natural sugars" and they are found in nature. Let me ask you something though, when was the last time you found a grocery store selling all of your fruits in nature?
It's assumed that with high fiber and low energy density of fruits that our satiety would increase therefore making us eat less food overall.
But we don't hear this. We don't hear "replace bread with fruit", what we do hear is "add this to your diet and you'll magically begin to lose weight". Natural sugar this and found in nature that. At the end of the day you still expose yourself to insulin spikes and to a higher degree, more often as well, seeing as how people treat fruit as "snacks" 😒😒😒. What else do we hear? "They say you should eat this",
"They say natural sugars are better for you"
"They say fruits are a great snack"
They also say that you're going to believe every word without even knowing who "they" is. You hear "knowledge" and "wisdom" from every corner of the city and from those self proclaimed fitness and nutrition gurua who in the end, are either sponsored by the very same company selling the shitty products or are clueless themselves to how these foods react in the body not on an energy level but on a hormonal level. Do your research people. Or not. I mean if you're happy with "Top 5 Foods that will help you lose weight", all the power to you.
So should we eat more fruits? Yes. But only if they are replacing other unhealthier foods in your diet. DO NOT ADD. REPLACE. REPLACE. If you can't do this. Enjoy your diabesity 😘😘😘. #lions#lionsgoneeatyou
