On the menu tonight: Spaghetti Squash with my homemade spaghetti meat sauce. Bomb.
Step 1: prep the spaghetti squash - cut in half, place cut down on a pan and place in oven 450 for 40 minutes or until tender
Step 2: chop up the veggies (onion, garlic, bell peppers, carrots, dried rosemary)
Step 3: sauté veggies until soft and season with cracked pepper, sea salt, Italian seasoning
Step 4: cook the ground turkey (season with cracked pepper, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning) and combine with sautéed veggies
Step 5: finish the sauce! Add two cans of tomato sauce and 2 cups of water to the meat and veggies..season with cracked pepper, sea salt, onion and garlic powder, Italian seasoning..simmer on low until sauce thickens (7-9 minutes)
Step 6: while sauce is simmering take the baked squash and use a fork to carve the squash out into a large serving bowl.
Step 7: spoon desired amount of spaghetti squash into bowl, spadle desired amount of meat sauce on top, finish with fresh avocado and cracked pepper
Step 8: Enjoy and be merry ☺
