A years weight journey....
My weight had been very stable for years and then a year ago I put 1 stone on due to a stressful unhappy year being diagnosed with skin cancer, losing my cat to breast cancer and general unhappiness at work.
I joined the expensive UP performance for a 12 week programme lost around 10Ibs on VLCD and weight training. I was eating around 1000Kcal. it was clearly unsustainable with no guidance and I not only put back on the 10Ibs but an additional 7Ibs! so 17Ib weight gain.
NEXT: RM Fitness. This was a crossfit style weight programme. I only did this for 1 month...again there wasn't enough nutritional guidance and I only lost a few pounds.
NOW: I have been training myself and following my own nutrition programme and lost over 15Ibs & 5% fat in 9 weeks so not the fastest weight loss but what ive lost is fat rather than lean mass. Plus I'm working away in hotels through the week and Ive finally found something sustainable that's working for me and costing me £0.
