Alright, so I'll be 5 months postpartum in a few days. What I've been doing to get in shape is that I eat at 5-6 meals a day. And I'll have a couple cheat meals within the week. My diet is pretty flexible but I do my best to keep it as healthy as possible but also tasteful for the family to eat. I workout 5-6 days a week. For some, that may seem a bit excessive, but it's my therapy. My 'Mommy Time'. My jam. Otherwise I'll go bat shit crazy. (It's happened before and it's not the nicest thing to see... ) I am by no means bringing anyone down (especially mothers) who have such a busy life and taking care of little ones. Shit, I get it! It's hardcore. We're on the job 24/7. We get no f-ing breaks! But I do want to point out that if we can not (I've said this a million times. Feeling like a broken record) take care of ourselves, then we can't take care of our family. If lifting weights isn't your thing, that's cool. Maybe going outside for a walk, jog, hike, bike, yoga. Or getting into a sport. Being active for even just 30 minutes a day makes a hell of a difference in your body, mind and soul. So, take that step into bettering yourself. Your body will thank you for it. YOU'LL thank yourself for it.

2017. Time to get back in shape; but NOT for a summer, but for my lifestyle. (Not due to a fast either) lol.
WEEK 1: Eating right. Exercising regularly. Getting the right amount of sleep. I already feel amazing and I've only lost 6 pounds. Lots of high metabolism boosting foods and veggies, proteins. 6 meals (snacks) a day. Meanwhile, downing 150 oz's a day of water. That's always been easy. Not sweets, sodas, etc. Feeling the grace. .

No...like you really have to love this.❤ Angèle and I have one of the few 2017 ELITE coaching teams in the company this year, and EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON loves what they do. They are either in it for the discount on the products that they love, or in it because they absolutely LOVE day 21 (results day) in their own groups they run with their own challengers. 😍Either way, it's a true love affair.😍 We run Coach Sneak Peeks every month where people can come "kick the tires" to see what the opportunity is all about. I get so excited after creeping their pages...motivational speakers, doctors, personal trainers, teachers...and then the first question out of their mouth bursts my balloon. "So I hear you make some good coin? What kind of money can I make?" Don't get me wrong as that's ultimately a factor in most people decision to sign up on our team. It's definitely a deal maker...but the very first question!?! Really!?! 😳
The people who get into this for the money only, don't last. Ultimately, it's a lot of work, and what we do comes down to helping as many people as possible. Sometimes that means long text messages at midnight, video chats while pulled over on the side of the road, and sometimes it means helping people who are not paying customers.
We love this. We honestly can't imagine not doing this. It's work, but the payoff in the end is worth every minute. And by payoff I am talking about the deep down feeling of euphoria from a simple text message from a challenger saying "Thank-you"... Thanks to everyone who is on this journey with us this round, and thanks to all of our coaches who work their butts off doing the same for their "people".🙏🏾 You gotta love it!!❤️
I get asked all the time "HOW DO YOU DO IT?" How do I work a 9-5 as a dental hygienist, take care of my family, run my own business and find time to stay committed to the bodybuilding COMPETITION LIFE 😳😳😳😳😳😳 My answer... I enjoy all that I do. All these things make me happy which makes finding time to do them easy. Im working towards the days where I could be a stay at home mom and spend more time with my family and focus on my fitness career but for now I find was to manage my time properly to where I can do it ALL without taking away quality time with my loved ones.
