Throwback to Monday because who takes only one selfie at a time 😂 🙌🏼 tbh haven't been feeling the best for the last couple of days - a bit of a reality hit that everything is not sunshine and
rainbows 🌈 I've been super hungry so my energy levels have dropped (messaging @jakecampusnutrition in the next few days if nothing changes because we need food as high as possible before prep 😏) and i f****ed up at work on Tuesday so im annoyed at myself for that because that's a whole weeks worth of work gone 😔
However, those are just the few negatives which I can't help but focus on. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of positives that I SHOULD be focusing on, like getting a good grade on my final report part one, continually increasing my strength in the gym, and making new friends with common interests 💪🏼 hehe. So here's hoping I smash today's leg workout and the end of the week brings back my motivation 😈
"One thousand one, one thousand two...30 seconds max to rest. You can do it!..." coach said as I take rest in between sets of 20 reps and exercises. I had an upper-body workout routine and cardio yesterday. When I finished off, I went to the closest bench to rest (and catch my breath 😀) before I hit start on the elliptical workout. That upper-body intensive routine did blast my back, chest, and shoulders. It's no joke! 1550 days in a row of yoga. Continuing to take things one day at a time. Still moving a bit slower after last week's accident and keeping my practices short. I'm looking forward to getting back to full length practices soon. But for now I am going to continue to listen to my body and trust that it knows what's best. 🌿
