It's rest day for me but I got up this morning and did my March Squat Challenge! 
Weekends are always the most difficult when it comes to staying on track with nutrition plans and keeping up with workouts but no matter how your day went yesterday or even this morning, change that mindset! 
It's never too late to make positive changes. Don't get into the mindset of "Oh I already messed it up so I might as well continue." This will only lead you into a downward spiral that is difficult to come out of. Take the day to relax but treat yourself and your body by getting 30 min of exercise in - whether it's walking, cleaning the house, getting an at-home workout in, or heading to the gym. Doesn't matter - just do it!

Bom como eu sempre falo pra vocês aqui em casa é de lei no sábado rolar aquela feijoada, porém não vejo como motivo de  jacar, por isso amo a low carb, é só saber fazer boas escolhas, nunca pego arroz e nem o feijão procuro sempre comer algum legume e verdura e aí opto pela carne de porco e o bacon 🐽 que são duas fontes de gordura boa, não é porque é final de semana que vamos sair do foco né amores ? All my life I was very insecure – being a short black girl growing up in a white unfriendly neighborhood can’t be called a happy childhood. I was often so stressed at a high-school I skipped my lunches and overate at dinners. I gained a huge weight in a very short time. One day on my way back home from school I ran into a group of white kids, who were yelling racial slurs at me. I was scared, I felt very unsafe. I realized that I must learn how to effectively defend myself. I felt like mighty ancestors were leading my hand while I scrolled through Instagram pages and suddenly found @_pro_blackfist_. This was exactly what I needed! I happily went to a workout and after a few months of practice, I realized that I'm having great results. Now I'm confident and ready to kick racist butts.

Saturday Lunching 👌🏻 I actually split this into two meals to have at two points in the day rather than one but the food volume is immense 👍🏻 Garlic and Chilli Cod with a pesto, basil & spinach spelt pasta mixed with pesto served on a bed of rocket and tender-stem broccoli on the side 🙌🏼 Ingredients;
10oz Cod Fillet 
200g wholegrain spelt fusilli pasta 
100g baby leaf spinach 
Fresh basil 
1 chopped red chilli 
2 cloves garlic 
Fry light butter spray 
30g gluten free Pesto 
50g rocket 
100g shiitake mushrooms 
Method; 
1. Boil the pasta in a bowl with a pinch of salt.
2. Whilst cooking in a large separate pan using the fry light heat the garlic and Chilli until golden, then add in the shiitake mushrooms until cooked through.
3. Now place the cod on top and cover for 5 minutes or until the fish is cooked. 
4. Add in the baby leaf spinach and again cover to wilt.
5. By this time the pasta should be ready, drain and add to the large pan with the basil and pesto. 
6. Stir in and then serve on a bed of rocket 😋
