When you have knee issues here is a great way to get someone to do squats with ZERO pain. When your squatting you focus on the contraction on your glutes/hamstring. Then when coming up from the squat focus on the contraction of your quads. Keep your glutes up against the way to make sure you can control the movement. You also can try it the other ways also with focusing on quads going down and glutes/hamstrings coming up. It's not hard to set a goal for yourself all you gotta do is write it down and set a date. How many goals do you have that truthfully you have no intention of completing? Sounded good at the time but when it really comes down to it eh, you just don't wanna be bothered.
It's much easier to complain about our problems, point fingers at other people and blame them for the reasons why we aren't where we wanna be in life.

I decided one day that I do not want the fear of failure to stop me from doing what I'm meant to do, what I'm passionate about. I wake up each day with the mindset that I have a new day to learn about myself, the people, places, and things around me. It's never easy. Being human I mean. I try to find worth in each day. I try to make a small difference when possible. At the very least, I make my bed every morning just to know I have one small win under my belt. That's what life really comes down to if you think about it. Small wins. A summation of small winnings leading up to incredible moments of truth, triumph, excitement, and genuine happiness. If we can't find or focus on the small wins, then we get lost in the negative. In a world that doesn't always make it easy for your light to be seen, I say do everything in your power to shine brighter. One day, your light might help someone else find their way or might change something for the better. Keep hope close and remember how important your existence is to this world.

My date for tonight. This is only one shelf, and if I could do a panorama, there would be two more piles of this for you to see. I have no idea how I have ended up with so many clothes, and I still have a whole closet full. I read the Komari method, awed at the lady who pared her closet down to 30 items, and have tried 1 million other ways to get a grip on all these clothes. I've come to terms that I'm a collector. I seriously still have a pair Levi's from when I was 15. No they don't fit me anymore, but I'm keeping them because they were my first Levi's and their original 501s. I have a whole bunch other vintage stuff, that I will probably never wear, but I love. I have never been comfortable with the need to throw everything away. I have at least 15 pairs of jeans in this pile that won't even fit over my ass anymore. Those I will get rid of. I plan on losing 10 pounds, but don't hold your breath. Today my mission is to get through the first round of stuff I don't really care about anymore, or I know for sure won't fit anywhere over my body. I'm taking it in 25 minute increments, with a bottle of wine, and a whole lineup of 90s music. I...AM...BACK!! I took 2 long weeks off from running. Still not a 100%, but it will do. My achilles tendon and knees were a bit sore on my run today. Tonight calls for some ice❄. I am starting a new program, doing a few things different this time around. Some major focus will be applied to quality nutrition, intervals, stretching, and strength training. I am hoping with my new gained experienced, I can make my goal, get faster, and qualify for the Boston Marathon!! I will be 30 in August so my time will have to be better than 3:05. Time to train smart!! Who is ready to watch me QUALIFY??!!!
I will be using ice and the roller to help with my achilles tendon and knees. Any other suggestions?
