The only clear thing in this photo is the gleam of light bouncing off my sweaty bald dome. This is what happens when you're in the zone and take advantage of a short break between sets. No cardio today so I'm pushing the iron with that extra fuel in the tank. Focusing on getting work done and not a picture redo. #nocardiomonday#sweatingmore#crappyphoto#notimeforredos#nogoofingoff#focus
I chose the light amidst the lurking darkness. I chose calmness and stillness among a crowd bathing in chaos. I chose happiness over screaming negativity around and I chose to be ME over the temptation of being like somebody else.
This is such a technically flawed/terrible image, but sometimes those are my favorites. You can follow every rule in the book, have the best equipment out there, and an outrageous subject to photograph; and somehow still walk away with a photo you're not I love with. Then you can shoot on a $15 plastic film camera, 3 stops underexposed, with a bad scan (like I did here) and be smitten.
