I was having so much fun making socks! I've been a knitter for 10 years, but it was only this year that I've attempted to make socks. I'm surprised that once you get the basic idea down, they are deceptively simple. I haven't attempted two at a time, so maybe I'll be eating these words soon 😂

We're *officially* one week into #summer , but I've been unofficially dreaming of a vacation to don this fun maxi on since, well, summer ended last year. Sadly, we couldn't get a big getaway on the books 😞. Where would you wear this dress? I'm just gonna go ahead and fill in my wishlist for summer 2018 now: #vacationgoals 🙌. #beachwear#vacationstyle#choosejoy#amidstlife

This series is another layer in my exploration of the continuity of consciousness trough different materials and media.
Venice, Rome, Florence, and also Naples. All of them compete for the hearts of the tourists and never miss any itinerary. But, have you ever heard of Perugia?
Tiny tiny guide in the link on my profile.
In addition my to my 1st #GlamGlow post, I also reviewed the Super-Mud Clearing Treatment Mask ($69/1.7 FL oz). This mask is the follow-up to GlamGlow's original Tingling & Exfoliating Mud Mask (I reviewed this in the first post). ..............................................................
The Super-Mud does indeed have different ingredients, but it continues GlamGlow's unfortunate habit of including lots of fragrance, irritating plant extracts, and comes packaged in a jar (pictured product came as part of LE set). Super-Mud contains kaolin clay and silicate to absorb oil, as well as an entire kitchen sink worth of AHAs (lactic, glycolic, malic, pyruvic) and BHA (salicylic acid). However, even when combined they don't add up to much because there is only a tiny amount of each present. it’s likely skin won’t see the exfoliation one would expect from a mask containing AHAs & BHA. ..............................................................
🔸PRODUCT CLAIMS: "Developed to fight all common skin concerns, including breakouts, discoloration, black and white heads, razor bumps and in-grown hair." 🔸REALITY: This mask did absorb oil and left a mattified effect after rinsing, however, this is a product that your skin ends up "paying for later" in the long term. Applying irritating ingredients to oily skin stimulates excess oil production at the base of the pores, which eventually means oilier skin and exacerbated breakouts.
Bottom Line: There are far better product options for reducing breakouts, smoothing and brightening the appearance of skin. Furthermore, if you're goal is to address clogged pores it's best done via a well-formulated AHA or BHA exfoliant applied daily, not a once or twice per week mask.
I was asked by quite a few people what some of my personal picks for effective masks, here are a few:
