80% of the time I'll have a big "malad" during the first half of my day to make sure I'm getting a variety of vitamins from my food. Nothing fancy. The following is what I throw in it to give me a little extra energy without having a crash a few hours later. Key is healthy fats ;) --------------------- 4oz of Albacore Tuna
1 cup Spinach
1 cup General Salad Mix
1 whole Egg
1 oz Bean Sprouts
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tbsp avocado base dressing
And, why would I take it easy my first day back?! My legs during my last quarter mile were legit jello!! 😰🤢 After a 2 week sinus infection and cough that wouldn't leave leading me to get winded just walking up the stairs, & started a cleanse and failed, due to getting the flu for a week and deciding it was better to eat what sounded good to my stomach rather than eating nothing at all, I decided I HAD to get back to my workouts!! 💪🏼👊🏼 Why is it when your sick, nothing healthy ever sounds good??? .

Quite possibly the worst lighting of any gym selfie but that's okay. I drove for over 6 hours today for work so I needed to get to the gym, bad. I've been bored with workouts lately so I've been doing Ashley Horner's Sweet Cakes and mixing in some Charlie Mike just for fun and it's been really fun, actually. Today's workout included handstand pushups, which I've never attempted before and they aren't easy but they sure are bad ass. I've been struggling to try to lean out for summer and I told myself I'd get serious after school gets done so now is time to grind. More importantly, I need to focus on drinking my water and getting my sleep. I'm not good at sticking to a diet plan because I love food too much but I'm going to start trying to be a little more disciplined because I want to feel confident this summer. The struggle is real y'all.
