That casual offseason fluff look! Sitting around 230's still. Finally starting to settle down in new place and job, stress is starting to go back to normal. So time to start focusing back into bodybuiling big time.
Well today was by far the worst training day I've had in probably years. Not sure but it just wasn't there. Bench felt super heavy, failed the last rep of the last set. Then got to deadlifts feeling totally smoked. I was supposed to do 4 sets of 3 at 470 lbs, went to do the first rep of the first set and let it go. I honestly don't even know what it was about, something just didn't feel right. Don't know if I was worried about hurting myself or just taken back with how freaking heavy it felt or what. So I took a few minutes and decided to give it one more shot. Got a tough single done and decided it was clear I wasn't getting it done today and if I tried I'd probably just hurt myself. It sucks, it's frustrating, but sometimes it just happens and I'm not going to freak out about it. And no, I'm not interested in anyone's opinion on why (other than my coach.) Thanks. This is just a reminder that everyone has bad days, keep going.

🚫Ego lifting leads to some severe injuries, control the weight, progress a bit by bit, don't focus on how much you lift especially if you're a novice/untrained individual.
