It’s always a cool thing when what you’re studying on your own lines directly up with a lesson delivered from your Pastor’s heart. Through Galations there is the reoccurring theme of grace and the opportunity that lies within it. That opportunity is for us to live, and to live fully. God has called us to be His children. Paul acknowledges his past in this book, and then we see him to continue to carry out his calling that God spoke directly to him. This should give us all hope that no matter what, we can still be used by Him.
Today I am exhausted; like, more exhausted than I’ve been in a loooong time.
Usually when the Lord is doing something new in my life, I go through a phase of experiencing some pretty intense opposition…
This doesn’t really surprise me, though; and, when God leads you to step out in faith, farther, it shouldn’t really surprise you, either.
Listen, friends. When God calls us to do things that we don’t naturally want to do, that’s a pretty good sign that we should follow Him; because, on the other side, God has waiting for us a freedom and blessing that we won’t be able to know unless we DO follow.
Our God is a good God. He doesn’t call us to do things to embarrass us, abandon us, trick us, laugh at us, or to watch us fail. No, His Word says:
“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." (Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV)
“For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13 NIV)
He is with us. In fact, in all Biblical scenarios, when God calls, He calls to set free; and, it’s for us to recognize it and to JOIN Him, allowing Him to fight the battle, for us.
So today, friends, if God has been calling you and you have been feeling the attack, keep to His Word and pray. Even when you don’t feel it, and you feel as though nothing seems to be helping, do what it takes to continue and, stick with Him. You are joining an all-seeing God in a battle that you can’t see, trust Him when He says that He is with you and has gone before you, to help you.
"Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the LORD, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.” (Deuteronomy 4:39 NASB)

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." I just got done reading a book called Love Focused (Bob and Judy Hughes). The whole premise of the book is that our behavior reflects our belief that God's love and grace is not enough so we supplement with other things. Story. Of. My. Life.
This verse hit the nail on the head... We should be content with our lives because we have the PERFECT provider - the Good Shepherd.
It's easy to say and difficult to believe and live out.
Praying that I would believe this verse, even on my darkest of days. He is the perfect provider and protector. 💗
It’s ironic how I know with conviction that God will use my defeated brokeness now and make it into something beautiful to reveal the path that I am to take.
Truth is, being alone isn’t easy, being blessed with a Mission & Purpose that God has placed in your mind ; heart; hands ; soul is not an easy feat, more often I will always feel defeated by my current circumstances or allowing my future to scare me. .
All that is needed from me is to look, focus on that CROSS. Focus on my present, my current state wherever I am at, whichever pace I have embarked on. .
Remain obedient through the words that He says in his Word, obedient to His call, obedient to His Mother Mary, obedient and faithful in my current circumstances.
TAKE HEART, KNOW THAT GOD IS ASKING YOU – ONE STEP AT A TIME, FOCUS ON THE PRESENT, NOT ON THE FUTURE THAT SCARES YOU AND PRACTICE OBEDIENCE. Call a sister, tell her what you are struggling with and allow her to speak that hard wisdom into your life. .
Believe me, it will be difficult and a tough struggle to receive any wisdom but it’s GOOD FOR YOUR SOUL! It leads you closer to Holiness!

Gardening has always been a huge part of my life. My grandparents on either side were always involved in food cultivation. My maternal grandparents worked in the fields (as did my mama) and my paternal grandparents are farmers. There were always beautiful gardens around me growing up.
I get my green thumb from my dad. There's so much pride, satisfaction, and peace that come with gardening. I'm so thankful that this is part of who I am. Also can't wait to get these planted.
#blessed is ME! My husband is a Saint, and I don't give him much credit. At 1:40 am, our son woke up sobbing. He didn't nap yesterday, which often leads to bad dreams over night since he sleeps so hard, so I already figured this would happen. He's usually good about a few minutes of back rubs, hand-holding, and lots of kisses, but this morning, as I was walking out, his face crumpled and he started sobbing. 😭 Broke my heart! 💔 But my alarm was set to go off in about 3 hours. My sweet hubby took over and laid with him another hour so I could go back to bed. Did I mention it's his birthday? That's just how he is. Selfless.
I didn't end up sleeping well again in those 3 hours, but I'm grateful for some rest...and coffee...and 5 more school days after today! #marriage#family#blessedisshe
Even as a cradle Catholic, making time for prayer hasn’t always been an easy thing for me to do (yes, the struggle is definitely real) BUT!!! Thank goodness my willingness has never been absent. One way or another, I have always found my way back and one of my favorite ways to pray is by lovingly reciting the rosary. Here are 3 tips from me to you, on how you can incorporate daily rosary into your life: #1 .) Download the Holy Rosary App. This app is AMAZING. I use it almost everyday when I am driving for a long period of time in L.A. traffic and/or getting chores done at home. #2 .) Carry a rosary in your purse and in your car. Believe it or not, it’s a great way to remind you that mama Mary is waiting to share her graces and hear your intentions. She’s the best advocate upon God for all your needs and worries. #3 .) Last but not least, pray the rosary using art. For some, it’s easier to concentrate when you have something to visualize. Invest in a beautiful painting of Mary or musical piece. Maybe a mug like mine for the office (link in bio) or a statue for your room/dorm. REMEMBER: However you choose to motivate your daily prayer, it’s a lot better than not praying at all. Sometimes the things we don’t like to do are the ones we need most. Trials and suffering are going to come in this life -- it's inevitable.
However, I have found that when I turn to praise instead of despair, there's a heart shift that happens.
I begin to focus more on how big my God is rather than my tiny existence.

Praying for you, whoever you are, experiencing extreme loss, suffering or a seemingly never ending trial...
Praying you see the L I G H T and that your mourning turns to joy.
Lately, God has been teaching me that I was living a life of an unpruned tree! It doesn't mean that I am not being fed or not in a good environment even, but it meant that I couldn't grow because I was hanging onto things that were hindering my growth.
I planted a "garden" this year so I got to see this occur first hand. I have been very intentional to watch these plants and to look at their leaves and see how they respond to the area I have them planted (regarding the amount of light they are getting) and the amount of water I have been giving them. My roses had a ton of dead flowers so I decided to get brave and prune them. I thought I killed them. I was pretty sure they were goners, and I was an idiot. Well, low and behold, these bushes are more beautiful than when we first moved in. They were producing gorgeous flowers!! Allllll that to say, the business I am apart of that has had to take some pruning too. I started to take too seriously the business side of things. So worried about the sale and qualifying for the next rank. That's not to say I am not supposed to work hard and work passionately in what I do, but it lost meaning for me. I needed to prune that rose bush.... and so I did. I made a conscious choice to get back to the passion behind essential oils for me. And that is how they are life changing and the fact that God was so wise in gifting these to us for our health and wellness. There is an alternative!! Sooooo, why am I saying all of this. Well, my leader Katie and friend Heather are leading a live business event talking all about the ins and outs of the Young Living business within our team.
I don't EVER pressure anyone into the business end, nor do I really bring it up unless you do (or I think you're doing it without knowing you're doing it). NEW BLOG POST🖍 One of our summer activities is going to be memorizing scripture as a family. I designed 11 free printables to color and help teach kids Bible verses. Each week, after they color them, they can hang them in their room and we can recite them together before bed at night.
My hope is to give them these treasures while they’re young, to hide in their hearts for later in life. I have such a hard time memorizing, always have, so I’d love to take advantage this time in their youth when they retain things and will still listen to Mama. I know that these truths will help them one day.
