Becoming a member of the Gurdwara is an important step in getting involved with the decisions made at the Gurdwara. As Calgary Sikh Youth, everyone reading this, we will be running the Gurdwara in the upcoming years and to ensure we run efficient programming and have a peaceful place to meditate and connect to Waheguru, it is important we are at the table when important decisions are made. We encourage everyone to tell their family and friends to get involved with seva opportunities alongside getting a membership. Remember, getting a Gurdwara membership is only the first step to doing seva.

Katrina is a mother of two, macramé weaver, yoga & meditation teacher, Reiki II practitioner, workshop facilitator and artist. She lives her life in devotion to living through her heart, outpouring love and light to the collective, and to allowing her soul to lead the way. Katrina’s big loves are creating macramé talismans and mandalas, crystals, holding space for others to connect with their innate creativity, sacred rituals, and her boys.
Her mission is to help people re-connect with their heart, uniqueness, unlimited power, soul-purposes, and to remember just how Divine we all are. 🌟

@ginny_couture here! I loved enhancing and defining Jill's naturally curly hair with three different colors. I have lots of curly haired clients! It's been one of my greatest joys as a hairstylist to transform their curls from something they dread taming into a hairstyle they are proud to wear daily. Here are a few tips and tricks for curly hair!
1. It all starts with the right haircut specifically tailored to your particular curl pattern. (Curly cuts happen to be my favorite.) 2. Before you apply any products, dry your hair as much as possible by scrunching it with a micro fiber towel. No rubbing back and forth! It's important not to cause any friction to your curls as that will cause a lot of frizziness and breakage.
3. Use the right hair products! I’m not into a high maintenance product routine so I like to keep it simple. Use an ultra moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, such as @aloxxihair's Essential 7 Oil. Paired with the Essential 7 Leave-in Conditioner, your curls will be soft and frizz free. Depending on what kind of finish you'd like, use gel for a harder hold or mousse for a softer, less stiff hold. To finish, air dry for your most natural curl or use a diffuser to achieve maximum curl.

Apply 1 drop each of Roman Chamomile and Lavender to a rollerball diluted with fractionated coconut oil. Apply to jawline to alleviate teething discomfort.
Dilute Clove oil in fractionated coconut oil in a rollerball. Start with one drop and test on yourself first. You want to feel the clove working with numbing the area.
