Image by @gregewing 'I've known Greg a number of years and have admired his work
even before I got into #photography .
Greg's wide pulled back work is what put me in the direction of enjoying an image which shows off the whole setting instead of the "tight is right" vision I had for so long. Also having honed his skills on film he has an understanding of light which
inspires me.' - @kc80

Surf & Sand Series - The Wedge: Spectator
On the far east end of the Balboa Peninsula, in Newport Beach, California, is a popular surf spot known as "The Wedge". It is so named for the large, wedge-shaped waves that result from the combination of a south/southwest swell and the reflection of waves off the uniquely positioned jetty.
The Wedge is a beautifully chaotic intersection, where brave surfers, boadyboarders, bodysurfers, and beach-going spectators congregate to participate in it and watch it all unfold.
