True beauty resides in the heart of a man or woman. You cannot say you are beautiful when your habits and attitudes are nothing to write home about. Nurture your heart, teach it to love, respect and value others. As you do so, you truly begin to radiate the beauty of God. God bless you.
👑💙| BE | ACT | DO | U 👑💙 |TBT| Don't yoU love when you see photos and memories pop up from back In the day?? They remind me of so much. Failures, success, typos lol bloopers , the biggest I've been, the smallest I've been and even "first timers". One thing yoU should take from #throwbackmoments is you're no longer there" I'm better , smarter and STILL have work to do.
I've always judged a person by their actions and not their words. I won't really believe a person until they follow up what they say with some action!
Being brought up in this life, I realized a lot of people would say they wanted to see change in the world...but never changed the "man in the mirror". They would make constant empty promises not just to their friends and family...but also themselves.
Being brought up surrounded by this idle and stale attitude, I decided to be a game changer. I wanted to be a "doer". A dream chaser. As my close friends know, when I have an idea in mind, I aim to set out to make that idea become reality!
I don't want to live this life in vain. I want to live it with purpose. I want to experience as much of this life as I can to the fullest! No holding back! I'll cherish the highest peaks and endure the lowest valleys where the sunlight can't touch. Because I know it's all part of the experience of life! To grow, to teach and to appreciate something that is so precious and short!
Be a game changer! Become a doer and take risks to becoming the person you were truly born to be! You were born to be great!
I am finding that I am experiencing so much more gratitude during my workouts lately.
It is the sacred time that I take nearly every day to give back to my body, which has given me so much. 🙏🏻 Is my form always perfect or do I increase my weight or reps each week? No, but I am moving and progressing and for that I give thanks.
It's more about the headspace that it puts me in for the rest of the day. It gives me an empowerment that feeds through to everything else I do. There's a level of character that is built from knowing you can push through a hard move or simply do one more rep with a heavier weight.
I workout because I CAN.
There are so many people that wish they could move in this way. I workout for them. I do this because I never want to take my bodily vessel for granted.
Today as you move through your day I would like you to express some gratitude for your body. Go for a walk, do some stretching, feed it nutritious food. It's the least you can do. Think of all that it has done for you and then pause for a moment and simply give thanks!
