Day three: the Spirit of Piety
Come, O Blessed Spirit of Piety, possess my heart. Enkindle therein such a love for God, that I may find satisfaction only in His service, and for His sake lovingly submit to all legitimate authority. Amen.

Life is a journey and a process. You may not get it right the first time. But be consistent with The Holy Ghost and keep looking at mirror of the word. You will certainly shine in every level of life. Remember, you have grace! Walk therein!! #grace#faith#anointing#HolySpirit
I'm the idiot that asked this question 6 months ago, but it was very frustrating as someone who didn't understand it at all previously. I struggled with what seemed like a completely crazy thought process: talking to nothingness. Here's how I reconciled a practice that seemed nuts and eventually made it a welcome part of my daily life: www.HeavenlyPlastics.com/talking-to-God/
Jerame Nelson totally smashed it last night! Such fire and belly laughs! And so many miracles!!!!..... we watched as a lady with metal fusing bones together in her back & foot that restricted movement had full movement restored & pain go in her entire body! Her response was brilliant... JOY!!! God is so good!!! Then Keely & Ben blew up the worship some more..... it's such a joy to serve God & see people's lives transformed!
Y mi Padre no juzga a nadie. Es a mí, que soy su Hijo, a quien le ha dado ese poder, para que todos me honren como lo honran a él. Cuando alguien no me honra, tampoco honra a mi Padre, que me envió. »Les aseguro que todo el que preste atención a lo que digo, y crea en Dios, que fue quien me envió, tendrá vida eterna. Aunque antes haya vivido alejado de Dios, ya no será condenado, pues habrá recibido la vida eterna.”
San Juan 5:17-24 TLA

When Jesus described John the Baptist to a crowd of people, he said that John was not a "reed swayed by the wind". The people who were listening understood that Jesus was using the imagery of a well-known Jewish parable about a reed and an oak tree planted by a river to describe John. According to the parable, the oak tree has deep roots that allow it to stand strong even against a powerful gale, but a reed is the opposite—twisting and bending with the wind to avoid being blown over. The point of the parable is that an oak stands firm, but a reed compromises itself. So, Jesus was describing John as a man defined by the strength of his faith during hard times, and who never compromised his values and moral convictions in the face of adversity.
Whenever you are indecisive about your faith, when you conform your beliefs, or bend your values—you're more like reeds than an oak. I wonder … how would Jesus describe you? •
It's Day 3 of the Holy Spirit Novena and we're praying for Peace today. When we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit, an abiding peace will stay with us. This is the sort of peace that so many of the saints exemplified in their lives when they were faced with hardships. It’s the type of peace that is unfailing & un-moving. We need this in our marriages. We need this stability and this anchor — for ourselves as well as for our marriages and family life. 💜 Come, Holy Spirit... "Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy.
Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy.
Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. Amen." - St. Augustine's Prayer to the Holy Spirit
We weren't simply drowning in our sin, we were dead in our sin. We were dead at the bottom of the sea, God dove down and pulled us out of the sea of sin and set us upon The Rock, Jesus Christ. Not because of what we did, what we're doing, or what we will do, but because of his mercy and grace. When you can finally understand this, you will understand what love is and get a glimpse of His beauty. 🔸Titus 3:4-7🔸 "But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life". #jesus#jesussaves#jesusisreal#reborn#bornagain#savior#saved#jesus#God#Christian#Christianity#Christians#TellTheWorld#JesusChrist#bible#Christianmemes#holyspirit#truth#prayer#love
Todays Blessing: May God turn you into a mighty prayer warrior. May you discern the enemy's schemes, pray God's promises, and shut down the devil at every turn. May you hear God's voice and know how to pray specifically for those in need before they ever ask for prayer. May you have eyes to see the new territory God wants to give you and the faith to walk forward and lay hold of it. And today, rest in the knowledge that God is strong and He's still on His throne.
