That sparkle though. Even though my baby belly is so visible, or maybe because of it, I feel incredible in this 1920's inspired Pissarro Nights dress. Since gaining about 50 pounds post baby, I've felt up and down about my body. Some days I like my curves, some days I just feel like a blob. But you know what? My body is awesome. My body grew and birthed two humans without medication. My body has been pregnant or breastfeeding for FOUR YEARS. And, my body is not the end all of my beauty. I've got an intelligent brain and a creative eye and talent I never dreamed of having a few years ago. God gave me this body and it is a strong and crazy cool body however much I weigh. #everybodyisbeautiful

Wishing you a decadent weekend from Josephine and Co. We'll be donning our banana skirts this weekend to get into the 1930s Paris club scene for Henry and June. We expect the @litfriction will be doing the same. Bisous 💋 #josephinebaker#friday#henryandjune#1930s#paris
A photograph of Mrs L Stanborough and her pet St. Bernard, 'Milady Diane' arriving by motorbike and sidecar at the Kensington Championship dog show, taken in April 1934 by Edward G Malindine for the Daily Herald. As demonstrated by this photograph, exercise and outdoor activities for both sexes were popular during the 1930s. With her leather jacket, cap and glasses - and Milady Diane's glasses - they were well prepared for the journey ahead.
